Leone Star’s Prince Barrie has adopted a 13 years old orphaned girl called Zainab as his younger sister.

His decision to adopt her as a younger sister came the very first day he met with her when she requested money from him to buy food, to which he obliged. Upon further discussion with her,  he found out that Zainab was a girl that has lost both her parents since the age of 5.

She shared the story of how at a very tender age she has lost both her parents and was living with her aged grandmother, who was very much pleased to meet with Barrie.

“I will make sure that from now on she will be alright,” Barrie said in an interview with Sierra Loaded.

He also added that it is his passion to render support to more vulnerable people that are suffering if he has the opportunity to do so.

Prince Barrie is a 23 years old attacker for the National Team Leone Star and also doubles as the winger for Bo Ranger Football Club (A club in the Sierra Leone Premier league). He played for clubs like FC Kallon from 2014 – 2015, Inter Allies FC in Ghana from 2015 – 2016, FC Kallon again from 2016 – 2017, Haifa FC in Guinea from 2017-2019, El Mokawloon El Arab SC in Egypt in 2019, and Bo Rangers respectively from 2019 till date.
