One of the most senior sons of the Limba community in the Western Area born in Thonko Limba chiefdom has been honored by the Limba tribal headman and tribesmen in the Western Area as chief adviser of the Limba community in the Western Area.

This was done at a well-celebrated ceremony on Monday 25th December marking his 80th birthday anniversary at his residence which was attended by dignitaries of both present and past government officials, and tribal chiefs from the Limba, Loko, and Temne ethnic communities in Freetown.

During the presentation of gifts, Hon Manso Dubuya was honored by his tribesmen with warm praise and prayers from the general public, senior government officials such as the chief minister(Dr. Sengeh) parliamentarians, directs, councilors, etc acknowledged the good work of the old man which he has contributed in nation building and development, especially to his people of Tonko Limba and beyond.

He has been appointed as adviser of the Limba community in the Western Area by the Limba Tribal headman ( Chief Alhaji Kandaa Bola Bongura-ii) accompanied by the Loko Tribal headman (Chief Kandeh Kamara)in the Western Area.

Traditional dance and other cultural performances were in attendance celebrating the occasion.
