President Julius Maada Bio has described the recently concluded ECOWAS Summit in Lungi as a significant achievement, praising his Cabinet and front office staff for their collective effort in delivering a successful event.

Reflecting on the summit, President Bio said it was “an exciting morning,” noting that his leadership was celebrated by members of his administration following the high-level regional gathering.

He emphasised that Sierra Leone reached a major milestone by successfully hosting Heads of State and Government from across West Africa, demonstrating the country’s growing capacity to manage major international events.

The President also highlighted the inauguration of the Julius Maada Bio Conference Centre, describing it as a state-of-the-art facility and “the most modern in the region.” He said the completion of the centre stands as a testament to what can be achieved through unity and shared commitment.

“This achievement proves that when we unite, we can accomplish anything,” President Bio stated, expressing appreciation for the support he has received.
