APC Mayor-Elect, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr together with her deputy, Kweku Lisk, have taken the Oath of office at a brief swearing-in ceremony to commence their five-year term.
The ceremony took place on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs.
In attendance were Councillors and key stakeholders of the All People’s Congress(APC) party.
The ceremony ended in a joyful manner as attendees sing together with the sworn in Mayor and deputy their party’s victory song.

The Mayor and her deputy were later given a warm reception at their office in the City Hall on Wallace Johnson Street.
