BREAKING: Ministry of Transport and Aviation Announces New Public Transportation Fares
Ibrahim Hashim The Ministry of Transport and Aviation and stakeholders in the transportation industry have announced the new transportation fares for various destinations across the country.
The announcement came following the public announcement of the increase in the prices of pump fuel, diesel and kerosene from Le10,000 to Le12,000.
The new transportation fares will take into effect on Tuesday 1 March 2022.
Following the public pronouncement on the increase in the pump price of fuel, diesel and kerosene per liter from Le10,000 to Le 12,000 the general public is here by informed that the ministry of transport and Aviation in collaboration with the motor drivers union and other key stakeholders in the transport sector have agreed as follows for public transportation fares within the Freetown municipality and provinces across border routes effective Tuesday 1 March 2022;
