MoCTI Certifies First Cohort of Civil Service Digital Skills Programme
Aminata Koroma The Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation (MoCTI) has certified the first cohort of the Civil Service Digital Skills Training Programme following the successful completion of a three-week digital literacy training.
MoCTI is partnering with the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs (MoPAPA), the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), and the Public Service Academy (PSA).
The first cohort, which included administrative staff, was divided into groups, with each group delivering a live capstone presentation to demonstrate the practical digital skills acquired during the training.
The presentations focused on how Google Workspace tools can be used to manage everyday administrative tasks, while demonstrating how the integration of these tools can enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity in the workplace.
MoCTI has congratulated the graduates on completing the programme, while stressing that the value of the training will ultimately be measured by how effectively the participants apply their newly acquired digital skills in their workplaces.
The next cohort of the Civil Service Digital Skills Training Programme is scheduled to begin on 9 October.
