The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE) has donated a vehicle to the Kono University of Science and Technology (KUST) to strengthen the institution’s administrative operations.
Presenting the vehicle, the Minister of Technical and Higher Education, Dr Haja Ramatulai Wurie, said the donation is specifically intended to support the university’s Secretariat in executing its day-to-day responsibilities more efficiently. She noted that the vehicle was made possible through the contribution of a benefactor from Kono, whose support complements ongoing government efforts to develop the institution.
Dr Wurie reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing higher education across the country, emphasising the importance of equipping universities with the necessary tools to function effectively.
Receiving the vehicle on behalf of KUST, Vice Chancellor Prof. Tamba Jamiru described the gesture as a timely intervention. He expressed appreciation to the Ministry and its partners, noting that the vehicle will significantly enhance the university’s daily administrative activities.
