Sierra Leone music duo, Muzik Makers has reached another milestone on their career after receiving the award for ‘Best Regional Act’ at the 2021 National Entertainment Awards (NEA).

The National Entertainment Awards took place on Thursday 23rd December, 2021 night at Radisson Blu Hotel in Freetown with a host of top Sierra Leonean acts in which Muzik Makers were recognized as Best Regional Act.

Muzik Makers is a musical duo comprises of Ish Mak and Tenflo residing in Bo town, Southern part of Sierra Leone. The duo breakthrough the entertainment industry after releasing their hit single “Enjoy” in 2016 from their first album.

In 2020, Muzik Makers worked with the President of Sierra Leone All-Stars Union and Indigenous rapper, Prezo Colabo on Waleh; a song they did with a mixture of Krio and Mende language. To expand their network and seek for more collaborations, the duo diverted to Freetown and featured Ambassador Kao Denero on ‘Na Betteh Tin’ which was released in March this year that has earned over 24,000 views on YouTube.

In December 2021, the duo was invited by Lake Production to perform along with Nigerian sensational singer, Kizz Daniel at the National Stadium in Freetown. Ish Mak and Tenflo are presently on tour in the province.

As one of the most prestigious awards in Sierra Leone, National Entertainment Awards recognized the positive contribution of Muzik Makers to the entertainment industry which gave them the award for Best Regional Act in 2021.

The duo has won awards like; Best election song from GERMAN Base crew from Germany in 2012, Best Music Group at the Bo Entertainment Awards in 2019, Best Song of the Year “Waleh” featuring Colabo at the Bo New Skool Awards in 2020. As they added another prestigious award to their list, Muzik took to Facebook and celebrated with their fans and family members.
