The National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM) has announced a reduction in mobile network tariffs across Sierra Leone.

Sierraloaded learnt that the NATCOM Board of Commissioners took the decision today, December 23, 2021 as a Christmas bonanza to Sierra Leoneans according to Section 52 and 54 of the telecommunications acts.

The tariff floor price for which was 590 will be reduced to 300 to make it more affordable for consumers, a NATCOM Commissioner told Sierraloaded.

The National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM) was established by an Act of Parliament in 2006 to regulate the Sierra Leone telecoms sector, protect consumer interest and ensure fair competition among service providers.
