NEW Engages CSOs on Collaboration Towards Credible And Peaceful Elections

The National Elections Watch Sierra Leone (NEW) has commenced the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) – Government dialogue on credible and peaceful elections in Sierra Leone ahead of the June general elections.

The event is staged for two days 18^th and 19^th April, 2023 at the Atlantic Hotel in Freetown, supported by GIZ and other partners respectively.

NEW maintained that, politics is not a game of war but of policies and ideas and the Civil Society is Key to building trust in elections and politicians and party supporters will have to maintain the peaceful coexistence at all levels of the election process.
