NGC Justifies Possible Alliance With SLPP
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The National Grand Coalition (NGC) has on Monday 30 January, 2023 disclosed that the decision to forge a possible alliance with the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) was not taken unilaterally by Hon. Yumkella or Dr. Dennis Bright.
The NGC Newsletter affirmed that it was a unanimous decision by NEC members present at Saturday’s NEC meeting.
It further confirmed that the Agenda for an alliance was laid for discussion, update on COPP was delivered, and the chairman of the meeting who happens to be Dr. Dennis Bright stated that some stakeholders in the part have already started having discussion with the SLPP for a possible Alliance.
They claimed the party is currently exploring the possibility for an alliance that is in the interest of the nation and party.
Meanwhile, the NGC leader, Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella has told his party that his decision will be communicated to them soon.
Yumkella has been objected to by his party and the public for associating with President Bio.
