NRA Reveals Deadline For Payments of PAYE and Withholding Taxes

The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has today Wednesday 1 June 2022, put out a public notice stating that deadline of filing for Pay as You Earn (PAYE) and withholding (5.5% and 10.5%) Tax Return and Payment of any Liability for the month of May is on or before the 15th of June 2022.

NRA noted that the said payments of filing of returns and payment of related taxes should be done through the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) portal.

The Authority stated that penality and interest will be charged for not paying taxes on the due date.
