The Office of the Clerk of Parliament has announced that debate on the Constitutional Amendment Act 2025 will resume on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chamber of Parliament.
The announcement follows the last Sitting of Parliament, during which the Speaker made a pronouncement regarding the ongoing legislative process on the proposed amendments to the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone.
According to the Clerk’s Office, the Constitution of Sierra Leone (Amendment) Act 2025 seeks to amend Act No. 6 of 1991 and make provisions for other related matters.
All Honourable Members of Parliament have been urged to attend the sitting promptly as deliberations on the bill continue.
