The Office of the Clerk of Parliament has called on all presidential nominees recently appointed to various state offices to collect, complete and return their parliamentary interview forms by Monday, August 17, 2026.
The notice dated August 13, 2026, states that the request is intended to facilitate the vetting of the nominees by the Committee on Appointments and the Public Service (CAPS) ahead of their presentation to Parliament for approval.
The Committee is chaired by the Majority Leader and Leader of Government Business, Hon. Mathew Sahr Nyuma.
Parliament has therefore urged the nominees to take immediate action by collecting their interview forms from the Director of Committees and Clerk to CAPS, Julius Moriba Songa, at the Parliament Building in Tower Hill, Freetown.
The nominees are expected to complete and return the forms by the stated deadline to allow the Committee to proceed with the necessary interview and approval processes.
The notice forms part of Parliament’s preparations to scrutinise and facilitate the approval of presidential nominees appointed to various state positions.
