A man identified as Musa Sesay of Fondokorie Village upper Tambaka Chiefdom Karena District is in the Police net for having an Eros weapon or gun containing at least twenty rounds of ammunition.

According to A-Z Multimedia, The Local Unit Commander of the Kamakwe Police Division confirmed that the suspect Musa Sesay was arrested with the Ero gun containing twenty rounds of ammunition and was brought in at the Kamakwe Police Division on 14th June 2022 at around 08:00 hours by police constables 15317 and 18472 both attached to the Kamakwe Police Division in Karene District Northern Province of Sierra Leone.

The Police boss at the Kamakwe Police division maintained that police preliminary investigations have revealed that the Ero weapon or gun might have been stolen from an OSD officer police constable 1681 Alimamy B. Sillah attached to the Borlta Villa Upper Tambaka Chiefdom who before the arrest of the gun in question reportedly lost his gun in the hands of unknown thief or thieves.

The police investigation further revealed that the suspect has had the arrested gun for over two weeks which according to the report he has been using to scare people especially women in the nearby villages.

However, the twenty live rounds up to the arrest of the suspect were intact. The OSD PC 1681 Alimamy B. Sillah who was reported to have lost his gun was reportedly in neighboring Guinea searching for his stolen Ero gun or weapon. Meanwhile, the Police investigation into the matter continues.
