In the alleged ongoing preliminary investigation into the alleged robbery with Violence incident at LEOCON filling station involving Alhaji Amadu Bah alias LAJ. The accused Alhaji Amadu Bah alias LAJ who made his fifteenth appearance before magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No.1 was arraigned on four counts of charges of robbery with violence and assault.

According to the police, the accused Alhaji Amadu Bah on Sunday 12 June 2022 at LEOCON filling station with the intent to rob, stole the sum of Le 4,200,000, and assaulted a pump attendant On his first appearance the charges were read and explained to the accused person and no plea taken. Cross-examination by defense counsel Madieu Sesay; show us in exhibit G1-16 where the allegation was put to the accused person that he robbed the fuel station and grabbed the complainant therein the alleged amount which showed that the accused person was a caution that he robbed the complainant.

In response, the witness said that the allegation was put to the accused person, and shows the court the statement obtained from the accused person. The witness said according to the accused person on his statement told him that they onboarded the vehicle and went to the Leoneco fuel station to purchase fuel and drove off without paying; will you be surprised to know that all the witness counsel representing the state object to the question made by defense counsel that the witness cannot say it because he is not the factual witness.

The witness was shown the medical request form of all complaints which was endorsed by the doctor and was never endorsed by the police; the witness said yes; you obtained a statement from the accused person the witness said himself and his colleague Dec 19841. 39.5 K/s 81 Many questions were to the witness before he could tender the exhibits that were in police custody.

However, Magistrate Ngegba overrule the defense and ordered that the phone be tendered together with the four hundred and ninety thousand Leones. Magistrate Ngegba refused the bail application and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown. The matter adjourned to the 16th of August 2022.
