Sierra Leone Police Violates Bike Riding Restrictions in Central Business District Areas
The magnitude of social injustice especially in the areas of Policing Commercial bike riders from plying within the Central Business District( CBD) has become an open secret.
The over protection of other commercial bike riders to comfortably ride within Central Business District by the Sierra Leone Police, whilst hunting down other segment of the same group, is a social injustice to the highest degree. what is good for the goose must be good for the gander.
Let me make this clear to the leadership of the Sierra Leone Police that social injustice is also the way unjust actions done in the society.
Social injustice is also the way unjust actions are done in the society. Social injustice occurs in situations where the equals are treated equally and the unequal is treated equally..
When a group with wealth, power, authority gives preferential treatment to its own group or members of another another group, social injustice occurs and such phenomenon can be perceived as structural injustice wherein, the Sierra Leone police giving Preferential treatment to certain Police officers.
Road Safety Corps, Venting their dismay over police officers dominating Commercial, bike riding Within the central Business District.
The two road safety Corps, who’s names withheld as Anonymous sources, expressed their frustrations that Bikes on Commercial basis will just flash their identity cards proving to be Police officers to be smooth sailing / plying within the restricted Business District
treatment to it’s own group over members of another group, Social Injustice occurs in a situation where the equals are treated equally and the unequal is treated
We are really suffering in the cold hands of these Police officer’s, as if they are not receiving salaries or entitled to any other allowances from the government of Sierra Leone.
