PPRC Confirms Receipt of NLe 350,000 Fine Payment from APC

The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has confirmed receiving payment of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Leones (NLe 350,000) from the leadership of the All People’s Congress (APC) on Wednesday, 11th February 2026.

According to the Commission, the fine was imposed for the contravention of Section 39(1)(c) and (d) of the Political Parties Act No. 25 of 2022 by members of the party, namely the National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya Esq., and Zainab Sheriff.

The PPRC expressed appreciation to the APC for complying with the payment directive and encouraged the party to take necessary measures to ensure that its members, supporters, and operatives conduct themselves in accordance with the law.
