President Bio Joins Other African Leaders at 36th AU Summit

President Bio on the 18^th of February 2023 joined other African Leaders at the opening session of the 36th  AU Summit with the theme ‘’Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area Implementation’’

The session is to be opened by the President Macky Sall of Senegal and presided over by the new chair of the African Union 2023 President Azali Assoumani of Comoros.

President Bio had earlier convened a high-level event to launch the UNESCO and AU Report on ‘’ planning equity at the heart of education policy’’ an initiative which is set out by the continental education strategy for Africa (CESA) 2016-2025 and the SDG 4 respectively.
