President Bio to Become a Founding Member of The Transforming Education Summit
Salamatu Y. Kamara The Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has formally invited His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio to be a Founding Member of the Transforming Education Summit.
According to the UN Secretary-General, “Sierra Leone has taken several important steps to transform education domestically and, through your Minister of Education has made a critical contribution to the preparatory process of the Summit. Considering this, and given your role as Co-Chair of the High-level Steering Committee of Sustainable Development Goal Four, I have the honor of inviting you to be a Founding Member of this informal Group of Champions”.
Antonio Guterres said, “I count on your continued support for our effort to transform education as a critical step towards transforming our world, for people and the planet alike”.
