The head of the Anti-corruption Commission (ACC), Francis Ben Kaifala, recently disclosed that they are expecting the legal matter involving the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr. Samura Kamara, and five other accused persons to end by September this year.

Francis Ben Kaifala made this disclosure on local media, while updating the public about his Success and challenges as head of the anti- graft institution for the past four years.

When repoding to questions about the trial, the ACC boss noted that the Commission conducted through Investigations into the allegations heaped on Dr Samura Kamara.

He also noted that the Commission’s legal team has sufficient evidence to prosecute the matter to it’s logical conclusion and also very competent lawyers to face the defence team.

However, he stated that the public must understand that the ACC is dealing with a judge who is going to rule based on evidence adduced or before him from both the APC and the defence team.

Francis Ben Kaifala also expressed that as a lawyer himself b, he will not charge to court any matter he knows he will not win.

He disclosed that the court has already allocated the entire August For the special hearing of the said matter
