Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh will represent Sierra Leone at the World Governments Summit 2025 in Dubai, beginning Tuesday, February 11th.

He will deliver a statement on behalf of the nation, focusing on “The New Economic Revolution: An African Perspective.”

Dr. Sengeh, described as a key figure in President Julius Maada Bio’s administration, will highlight Sierra Leone’s role in shaping governance architecture, a vision he attributes to President Bio.

This marks Dr. Sengeh’s third consecutive appearance at the World Governments Summit, having previously attended as Chief Innovation Officer and then as Minister of Education, where he received the Best Minister award.

The 2025 summit will host prominent African government officials and entrepreneurs, including Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, UAE, and Chairman of the World Governments Summit, Prof. Klaus Schwab, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, World Economic Forum, Robin Li, Co-founder and CEO, Baidu, Omar Sultan AlOlama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, UAE, and Vice Chair, World Governments Summit, H.E.
