The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is currently investigating three suspects linked to the disappearance of Fourah Bay College lecturer Kabba Santigie Bangura in the geography department.
According to standard Times newspaper, Kabba Santigie Bangura left his house at 11 Leicester Road, Freetown with his four children on March 6, 2023 for lectures.
On the way, she left her children behind at University High School and later went to Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
It was further revealed that after the lectures he was spotted heading towards the Axis of Waterloo.
According to Kabba’s elder brother, late in the evening of Friday, March 10, Kabba’s elder wife, Rosaline Ya-Alimamy Bangura, called to inform him that since her husband had gone to work on Monday, he was yet to return home.
With that, they immediately reported the matter to the Central Police Station.
In the morning their statements were received and a search was made for him, informing his relatives, friends and the university administration.
Later, the other wife, Aminata, joined them in a search for Kabba.
On Saturday, Kabba’s vehicle was spotted and impounded at the Mile 38 checkpoint. The case was transferred to the Masiaka Police Station but was later transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department headquarters in Freetown.
Currently, a bunch of keys belonging to the lecturer was found in the hand of the driver who stayed with the vehicle of Mohamed Kalokoh, and two other suspects: Abu Follah and Saidu Sesay are assisting the police in the investigation at the Central Police Station.
