Reports have emerged of a devastating incident at Abacha Street, the heart of Freetown, as a 40ft container fell, resulting in numerous injuries and, tragically, the fear of potential fatalities.
The catastrophic event unfolded abruptly, creating chaos and panic in the bustling center of the city. Eye-witnesses recount a scene of horror as the massive container lost control and plunged into the crowded Abacha street, impacting pedestrians and vehicles in its path.

Ministry of Road and transportation have stop all vehicles carrying Tanks , Timbers etc in a very populated area As well in main streets.
They should stop them operating in all main street.
The killing is too much now .

May Allah rest their souls in perfect peace. Again the transportation ministry in government should stop the movement of all those vehicles running with containers especially business places doing daily hours to prevent such accidents like some other countries.
This is really tragic and I don’t understand why this happened to our fellow citizens. This is the month of horror and tragic events. Let’s be careful of where we go and pray for the safety and guidance from the Oneness, the Master of health and wealth. May their kind, jentle, generous and amiable souls rest in perfect peace…….Sierra Leone! Where are we moving on to in the next two-year?

What the minister of Road Transportation and Aviation is doing
Stop those heavy duty trucks, containers, tankers from using the populated areas during the day and early hours of the night 🌙.
