Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Lansana Gberie in a bid to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries had met with officials at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland.
The meeting was focused on the prospects for the two countries to roll out economic cooperation as well as the steps taken by Sierra Leone to reform institutions and diverse economies to create investment opportunities respectively.
Earlier this week, Ambassador Gberie together with the Head of Chancery, Edward Kawa met with the team of Swiss-African Business Circle and discussed opportunities for Swiss investments and other forms of trade relations with Sierra Leone, including healthcare, agribusiness, fisheries and tourism.
In the courtesy call on Amb. Beatrice Schaer, Head of Protocol, FDFA of Switzerland, expressed his gratitude to Switzerland for their continued support in various fields of cooperation and exchanged views on how to strengthen bilateral relationships between the two nations respectively.
