The Government of Sierra Leone under the leadership of president Bio Signs $15 million Manowa and Tumparie Bridges Contracts.

The Minister of Finance, Hon Dennis Vandi, and Minister of Agriculture Mr. Abdul Karim on the 5th October 2022, signed with the contractors, Al-Own/HDF JV the contracts for the Construction of Manowa Ferry Bridge in Kailahun District and Tumparie Ferry Bridge in Karene.

The costs of the two bridges funded under the World Bank-funded SCADEP project are about $15.0 million.
