The Sierra Leone Police has suspended the Director of Professional Standards, AIG Mohamed Brima-Jah for professional misconduct and disorderly behavior.

Sierraloaded learnt that AIG Mohamed Brima-Jah was suspended due to an attempt to hit the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mrs. Elizabeth Augusta Turay at the Police Headquarters in Freetown.

He was the Director of Crime Services in the Sierra Leone Police who set out policies and strategies for combatting crime throughout the country. He advises the Inspector General of Police on strategies to curb crime.

He was also supervising strategic control and command of Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Family support Unit (FSU), Transnational organized crime (TOCU) and Interpol.

AIG Mohamed Brima-Jah is now the Director of Standards in the Sierra Leone Police.
