The Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Francis as part of the special envoy of President Bio had met and had discussions with President Hage Gottfried Geingob of Namibia.
The meeting and engagement are centred on strengthening the long-standing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries which is mutually beneficiary in terms of peace, security and economic development of Sierra Leone and Namibia.
The Minister had earlier signed an MOU with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H.E Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah which will serve to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in six (6) key areas of priority, in recognition of the support from Sierra Leone to achieve political independence in 1990.
In a bid to assuring the structural presentations and actualizations of different bilateral meetings, the minister recalled the presentation of the APRM Report made by President Bio at the 36th AU Summit in Addis Ababa in his capacity as the AU Chairperson of the African Peer Review Forum of Heads of States and Government.
