Members, sympathizers and independent funders of the grand old Sierra Leone People’s party flocked into the Hampton Conference Centre at Capital Heights, M.D, to mingle, dance and party, while raising funds and donating towards the 2023 Re-election campaign of President Julius Maada Bio.

The tireless and unifying work of the erudite young dynamic and passionate Chairman of the North America Region, Desmond Pessima and the Washington D.C chapter chairperson Mrs Dausy-Wurie put up a well organized and classy event, that took its audience to back in the days memories on the dance floor, under the esteem patronage of D.J Songo Train.

Mrs Desmond Pessima as the Keynote speaker for the evening, underscored the importance of people living in the Diaspora’s involvement in the coming election as foot soldiers, door to door election educators and highlighted the need for women to run for positions during election period and be supported by other women within the party, as that’s one way to keep the vision of President Bio’s legacy of Women’s inclusion alive.

Awards were given to dedicated individuals who has remained committed to the agenda of His Excellency such as D.A.C Rachel Hornor, Chairman Pessima and Wife, veand ry humble and selfless D.C Young Generation Leader Solomon Palmer amongst others.

Special performance was done  by Popular female Musician Rozzay Sokota.
