Sierra Leone Roads Safety Authority (SLRSA), has issued an official notice cautioning vehicle owners against the unauthorized transfer of Temporary Vehicle Registrations (TVR) issued at the point of entry.
This practice, the authority emphasizes, contradicts regulations governing the use of TVRs.
According to the SLRSA, a TVR is valid for one month and applies to a single vehicle only.
The authority clarified that TVRs cannot be recycled, even if the owner chooses to license their vehicle before the expiration of the TVR. Vehicle owners are reminded that it is their responsibility to complete the registration process before the TVR expires.
The SLRSA has warned that any vehicle owner found violating this regulation will have their vehicle apprehended. The vehicle will not be released until the proper registration process is completed.
Bo una lef we corrupt SLRSA.
