The Executive of the Sierra Leone Reporters Union (SLRU) has announced an important meeting for all members as preparations gather pace for the Union’s 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
According to a notice issued by the Union, the meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) Secretariat in Freetown.
The main agenda will centre on planning for the 2026 SLRU Annual General Meeting, regarded as one of the Union’s key events.
To ensure broader participation, members based in the regions will be provided with a Zoom link to enable them to fully engage in the discussions.
The Union emphasized the significance of the meeting and urged all members to attend and actively contribute to deliberations aimed at ensuring the successful organisation of the forthcoming AGM.
According to the Executive, members’ participation will be vital in shaping the direction and success of the Union’s activities in the year ahead.
