The Speaker of ECOWAS Parliament Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis has extended best wishes to  President Bio and all good people of Sierra Leone.

In his famous speech, Dr. Tunis expresses appreciation to the Republic of Sierra Leone for its support and contributions to the efforts of the ECOWAS Parliament.

”The success that your country has seen is not only because of its progress in implementing the 2030  Agenda for sustainable development and other core development initiatives but also because of the unity and harmony among the people. We applaud your work in expanding gender empowerment and representation, as well as protecting and promoting the rights of persons, evident in your inclusive education policy. It is very applaudable  that Sierra Leone  remains  one of the most  peaceful countries in Africa, which is especially  noteworthy due to the  numerous challenges to peace and security in the sub-region.” he stated

On behalf of ECOWAS, he expresses commitment to work together with the government and the People of Sierra Leone to build a fully integrated Community of people in a peaceful and Prosperous region.
