Statistics assures all Sierra Leoneans that enumeration of persons and households in Sierra Leone is ongoing across the country as the dashboard at the Headquarter continuously shows notification of synced data.
Statistics notes that there is still resistance in some communities, stating that in some places there is insults and assault carried out on field workers.
Statistics urges Sierra Leoneans to participate in the Census, warning people from insulting and attacking Census-exercise workers.
Statistics appreciates the efforts of some community leaders, such as the PC of of Mabanta Chiefdom in Tonkolili District, for taking active roles in encouraging people to take part on the Census.
Statistics states that the new slogan for their field staff is “No Sync, No Sleep”, adding that enumerators have continued to do a good job.
