Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats-SL) has announced the recruitment of qualified Sierra Leoneans to serve in various roles for the upcoming Demographic and Health Survey (DHS), inviting interested applicants to apply through its official vacancies portal.

In a public notice, the national statistics agency said the recruitment forms part of preparations for the implementation of the Demographic and Health Survey, one of Sierra Leone’s most significant nationwide data collection exercises. The survey is expected to generate reliable and comprehensive data to support evidence-based policymaking, national planning, and sustainable development.

Stats-SL encouraged suitably qualified Sierra Leoneans who are interested in contributing to the successful delivery of the survey to submit their applications before the deadline through the vacancies section of its official website at https://www.statistics.sl/index.php/vacancies.html

The agency noted that the Demographic and Health Survey plays a critical role in providing nationally representative data on key population, health, and social indicators.

The information generated will support government institutions, development partners, researchers, and policymakers in designing, implementing, and evaluating programmes aimed at improving the well-being of citizens across the country.

Interested applicants can access detailed information on the available positions, eligibility requirements, and application procedures through the vacancies page on the Statistics Sierra Leone website.

Through the recruitment exercise, Stats-SL reaffirmed its commitment to conducting credible and high-quality national surveys that provide accurate statistical data for informed decision-making and national development.
