Stats SL Opens Recruitment Portal for 2026 Population and Housing Census
Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats SL) has officially opened its online portal to recruit field personnel for the upcoming 2026 Sierra Leone Population and Housing Census.
The national statistical agency announced that prospective applicants can now submit their applications directly through the official recruitment website. The exercise aims to engage temporary field staff nationwide to conduct data collection and logistics for the decennial census.

Furthermore, Stats SL issued a public warning regarding potential recruitment scams, emphasising that the application process is completely free of charge. Applicants are cautioned against paying any fees or engaging with unauthorised platforms, social media accounts, or individuals claiming to offer recruitment assistance.
