Sylvia Blyden, an opposition All People’s Congress (APC) politician and Publisher of Awareness Times Newspaper have demanded an apology from the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio.
Blyden, in a Tweet on Saturday said the President falsely associated her with terrorism to justify an unlawfully detention.
She wrote; “I’m a WOMAN in the Opposition but I’m so potent that I regularly face (and surmount) challenges from both Govt & Opposition. Last year, on this date(May 8th), @PresidentBio falsely associated me with Terrorism to justify why he unlawfully detained me. He still owes me an Apology.”
