Another disastrous fire outbreak has reportedly engulfed two houses at Mellon Street, in the East End part of Freetown, leaving valuable properties burnt down into ashes.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 9th May, 2025, which sparked an alarming concerns from the residents, calling on authorities to swiftly respond to the incident, but it was quite unfortunate for them to get earlier support which led to the loss of properties.

According to a report, the disastrous incident surfaced due to poor electricity supply by the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA).

However, no injury or loss of lives has been reported.
