Sierra Leone’s Ambassador extra ordinary and permanent representative to the United Nations, Fanday Turay Esq. has engaged counterparts on developmental exchange in the transport and aviation sector.

This happened at the IMO’s biennial assembly that was focused on issues related to the Maritimes.

He disclosed that he had good time to discuss developmental exchanges with other countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Malaysia, morocco, Cyprus and also the president of the assembly.

“The IMO’s biennial assembly is the perfect forum to discuss strategic issues on maritime related matters and a great forum for networking too. I had fruitful bilateral meetings with colleagues from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Malaysia, Morocco, Cyprus and also the president of the assembly. We explored potential areas of collaboration and partnership in the transport and aviation sector” he noted.
