University of Sierra Leone Announces Dates and Fees for 2023/2024 Congregation
Aaron Parker The University of Sierra Leone has released a public notice detailing the congregation fees and ceremony dates for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The congregation, scheduled to take place from the 17th to the 19th of December 2024, will see graduates from various faculties and programs receiving their degrees.
Congregation Fees
The fees for the different categories of graduates are as follows:
Ph.D. – LE5,000.00
M.Phil – LE3,500.00
MA/M.Ed./M.Sc. – LE3,000.00
Undergraduates – LE2,500.00
Diploma/Certificate – LE1,500.00
These fees cover personalized degree certificates, regalia rental (excluding Ph.D. candidates), and administrative costs. All payments must be made at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank on or before 29th November 2024. The payment details are:

Congregation Dates
The dates for the congregation are as follows:
Day 1: Tuesday, 17th December 2024 – College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) and Postgraduate Students
Day 2: Wednesday, 18th December 2024 – Fourah Bay College
Day 3: Thursday, 19th December 2024 – Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM)
All graduates are urged to meet the payment deadline and prepare for the ceremony according to the schedule. The University of Sierra Leone’s Acting Registrar emphasized the importance of completing these payments on time to ensure a smooth congregation process.
