Ambassador Bryan Hunt has visited the Northern City of Makeni, Bombali District where he had fruitful discussions with the Bombali District Council Chairman and the Makeni City Mayor, focusing on enhancing local governance, promoting sustainable urban development, and strengthening community engagement.
The Ambassador and the Local authorities in Makeni City and Bombali District discussed about crucial priorities including agricultural and health improvements, climate action, and robust waste management strategies, alongside reinforcing their dedication to electoral reforms, environmental resilience, and economic growth.

The Makeni City Mayor, His Worship Abu Bakarr Lamtales welcomes the US Diplomat to the city and assures him of the Council’s commitment to uphold the good relationship both countries had built over the years.
