National Election Watch Engages ECSL
Mohamed Aruna The Management Committee of the National Election Watch (NEW) has on Tuesday 7th February, 2023 engaged the Electoral Commission Of Sierra Leone (ECSL) on their preparedness to conduct the June 2023 multi-tier elections.
During the engagement, the Electoral Commission disclosed their strategic activities and plans in preparations of the upcoming elections.
ECSL also assured them of their readiness to conduct the June elections and the different mechanisms they have put in place.
Speaking on their side, the Management Committee of the National Election Watch (NEW) disclosed that they have stuffed out workable ideas to ensuring a peaceful election that will be conducted by ECSL,
They further explained their proposed election observation strategies, development and related activities that will be carried out during and after the election.
The Electoral Commission of Sierra Lone (ECSL) has recently been receiving different bodies cross-checking their preparedness, including the recent visit of the Mano River Union (MRU) delegation led by their new Secretary General, Ambassador Maria G. Harrison.
