The World Food Program Donated some materials to the free quality school education secretariat that may help them ease their job and monitoring process in ensuring that, the work is properly done.

The donated items include, ten (10) motorbikes, 5 Yamahas and 5 TVS, are to be used in facilitating and easing the movement of School Feeding Monitors across the 16 administrative districts with the view to helping them effectively oversee what is considered a very important component of the FQSE.

Four (4) Africell Modem gadgets with a year’s subscription while the one (1) Java Speaker would be used at workshops, seminars and awareness raising and sensitization campaigns in the quest to promote the FQSE scheme.

The donation is as part of support to the scheme and as a way of strengthening the partnership, it has forged with the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, MBSSE.

The National Programme Coordinator at the FQSE Secretariat,Augustine Tehguma Moses Koroma, thanked WFP for what he described as a huge support, noting that the donated items would go a long way towards positively impacting the work of the Secretariat.

He said the MBSSE, under the leadership of Conrad Sackey, was committed to realizing the vision of the President and would therefore spare no efforts in strengthening partnership with local and international organizations as well as assured that the donated items would be utilised for the actual purpose.
