The All People’s Congress (APC) has announced that rerun ward elections will take place on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, in all outstanding wards where elections were previously cancelled or are still under review by the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) or the Independent Elections Complaints Body (IECB).
The announcement was made in a public notice issued on 22 July 2026 and signed by the party’s National Secretary General, Lansana Dumbuya, Esq.
All eligible delegates, aspirants, party officials, and election personnel are expected to participate in accordance with the Party Constitution, Electoral Rules and Regulations, and directives issued by the National Secretariat.
The APC National Secretariat also called on all party members to conduct themselves peacefully and uphold the principles of unity, discipline, and democratic participation throughout the exercise.
Further details, including the list of affected wards and polling venues, will be communicated through official party channels.
