Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, the Vice President of Sierra Leone, has emphasized the importance of peaceful campaigning for all Sierra Leoneans while maintaining the country’s tranquility.
During his campaign addresses to his supporters, he urged every citizen to conduct themselves in a composed manner and engage in their campaigning activities without fear, assuring them that no event will disrupt the peace in the nation.
The Vice President advised Sierra Leoneans to embrace peaceful behavior in their daily lives, emphasizing that President Julius Maada Bio is fully in control of the state and will take all necessary measures to uphold peace.
In his messages, he highlighted numerous accomplishments of their government over the past five years. He specifically mentioned the significant reduction in the maternal mortality rate in Sierra Leone and expressed their commitment to further decreasing maternal and infant mortality to zero.
Jalloh also called upon supporters of President Bio to refrain from engaging in any conflicts during the upcoming June 24 elections. Additionally, he encouraged members of his own party to demonstrate their unwavering support by turning out in large numbers on polling day, as they had previously showcased during the voter registration exercise, and to vote overwhelmingly for their party.
