The All People’s Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Samura Kamara, has expressed his unwavering commitment to addressing the concerns and aspirations of Sierra Leoneans as he seeks the presidency of the country.

Kamara, who is representing the main opposition party, has been actively campaigning in various districts, including Moyamba, Kono, Kamabia, and others, in preparation for the upcoming June 24 elections.

Taking to Twitter, Kamara reiterated his dedication to the people of Sierra Leone, stating, “I will continue to heed the calls of my fellow Sierra Leoneans. A call to save our nation. A call to improve the lives of every Sierra Leonean, regardless of their race, tribe, religion, or regional heritage. A call to uphold democratic values. A call to respect every Sierra Leonean. A call to eradicate poverty. A call to restore honor to our esteemed institutions.”

Confident in his abilities, Kamara declared that he is actively responding to these calls and expressed his firm belief in securing victory in the upcoming elections.

He further emphasized his determination to liberate Sierra Leone from any form of political intimidation, thereby ensuring a brighter future for the nation.

In the forthcoming elections, Kamara will be competing against the incumbent president, Julius Maada Bio, from the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP). Although Kamara suffered defeat in the 2018 presidential election, he remains hopeful of reshaping the narrative in the June 24 polls and garnering the support needed to lead Sierra Leone forward.
