The main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Samura Kamara has scorned the Sierra Leone Police following an incident in Kono where tear gas was deployed against his convoy and supporters.
“The teargas was unnecessary.
“You (Police) blocked our route and I’m happy my supporters reacted peacefully and now we are here (campaign ground),” Kamara said.
He teased the police of failing to stop his supporters on their peaceful campaign in the district.
Kamara was received on Friday by thousands of supporters who thronged the street of Koidu City in Kono.
Shortly after his appearance in the city, videos surfaced on social media showing some his supporters fleeing teargas fired by Sierra Leone Police Paramilitary unit.
On Thursday, Kamara’s running mate was said to have also been trapped in opponent SLPP stronghold, Kenema District after an alleged attack by supporters of the ruling party.
As the country edge towards the 24 June polls, both political parties have accused each other of violence. The police have asked both to report any matter to them with evidences.
This is the presidential candidate that apc expects to rule sierra leone, can you imagine his behaviour, shame on apc.
You The Sierra Leone police are slpp in disguise uniform. They are not professional any longer. They were seen to be ” a force for good” during the reigns of EBK, but today, they have turned to be rebels to the people they require to protect their lives and property. Honestly, this is madnesses. How can you tell someone to make his or her report of any violence to you, when you’re the one perpitratipe the violence?
Well it is obviously clear that the SLP are political instrument of any ruling government in S/L. But in this current regime they are more used than ever before. We hope to see a great change.
One of thing I want let all the apc supporters know about samura kamara,he will never handle that staff as president of our beloved nation. Maada BIO will never hand over the to any of the apc presidental candidates in his life carrer.

One thing I want each and every sierra leonean to know is that our country sierra leone belong to all of us sierra leonean and not a set of hooligans who think they can just rule the people inhumanly. These so called rebels government should know that it is the people that voted them into governance and it is the right of the people to vote them out again if they do not govern the people the correct way. What a shame and disgrace go this so called defunct SLPP paopa government. Get ready to pack your panches to go away, useless miscreants.
Whoever loses this forthcoming election should just accept defeat in peace and go back to reorganise for the next one. This country belongs to all S/Leoneans. When the majority say YES, no one person can deprive the people from their rights. Else s/he will end up just like Foday Sankoh.
If one million Guinean Franc is equivalent to two million two hundred and ninety eight thousand and fifty two Leones. I think we are going from better to worse at a high speed, economically.
