The Sierra Leonean Football Star was invited by his Former Club for their 122nd anniversary Celebrations.

Rodney Strasser has maintained a very good relationship with his former Club and on that note the AC Milan Foundation has considered to have a Chapter in Sierra Leone.

In order to strengthen their Commitment, they have donated Several Football Items and promise to do more.

Fondazione Milan was established in 2003 the aim of offering social engagement from AC Milan to meet the needs of local communities in difficult and socially emarginated circumstances.

The foundation intends to build a world that helps young people to grow through sport to discover and better themselves by gaining balance and wellbeing and, in turn, actively contribute to the growth and improvement of their community.
AC Milan Technical Director Paolo Cesare Maldini and other Milan Stars were Part of the Celebrations.

In addition, ahead of the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon 2022, Sierra Leone will face Algeria and also Ivory Coast. Rodney had an exclusive interview and was asked about French-born Algerian Ismaël Bennacer & Franck Yannick Kessié the Ivorian. His answers was that he has mutual respect for them and his National Team Sierra Leone is well prepared for the tournament.

Born in Freetown, Strasser began his career at local club Kallon, before moving to Italy to join Milan in 2007. Rodney Strasser will always be remembered for his first professional goal in a 1–0 league win over Cagliari, on 6 January.
