Popular Sierra Leonean Social Justice Activist Karim Bah has Condemned the termination of Bo Rangers Striker Musa Noah Kamara’s contract.

The activist posted on his Facebook page asking a series of questions. He highlighted that “How can any long-term contract be terminated without notice? Are there no laws to protect the rights of employees like Musa Tombo?Immediate termination without a notice period? Has any disciplinary action been taken against him before? Whatever Musa has fallen short of, his full rights in the contract must be followed in line with employment laws in the country. He should appeal this decision to national and international arbitration bodies for Justice and compensation. I hope other professional footballers at home and abroad will stand with Musa Tombo.”

He further described Musa as their best player and the nation’s favourite son and further stated that if Musa Tombo does not have money to hire a lawyer, let him start a go fund me campaign so they can make contributions towards his legal fee.

Some social media commentators have opined that If he is alleged to have committed a major infraction, his contract can be terminated without notice. But what amounts to a major infraction involves grave issues which may sometimes include criminal consequences. From all that some of them have seen and heard, it does not sound like Musa has committed any such infraction and may have been entitled to a notice period.
