Ahead of the Maforki Chiefdom Female Football team clash with the undoubted queens of Baimoi Luma in their gala competition, Executive Director of Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation, Amb. Councilor Unisa Totti Fofanah has boosted the Maforki female football team with training jerseys.

Amb. Unisa Totti Fofanah is the Executive Director of Bai Bureh Heritage Foundation, he also doubles as the Ward Councilor at Port Loko City Council. This vibrant and young personnel has been spotted in many community engagements in the fight against gender based violence. Late last year, Amb. Unisa Totti Fofanah bagged Plan International Gender Transformation Champion Award 2022.

Speaking to Amb. Councilor Unisa Totti on his donation, he revealed that the move was to boost the Maforki Female Football Team as part of his commitment to contribute meaningful to humanity and every aspect of community development within his reach.

He continued that, the Maforki Female Football Team has reached a level of exhibiting their skills in Port Loko City and he strongly considered it as a responsibility to invest his support which he believed will aid the team to ensure increased performance

As the saying goes “a little act of kindness may serve as a huge source of hope and happiness to someone’s life’,” this has been Totti’s driven tool to doing kindness to humanity no matter how little he could afford. The move of this donation to provide the team with training jerseys was well appreciated by the players and the management because it was done without any prior notice.

Speaking on his donation and the importance of kindness to humanity, Amb. Unisa Totti disclosed his feelings everytime he does kindness in society.

“As a Youth development ambassador, A strategically positioned and energetic young leader, I am always willing to serve to an extent that I will never get tired of doing the little things for others, because those little things sometimes occupy the biggest part of their hearts. On the process of the donation, I sensed a lot of happiness and increased determination on the side of our young female footballers in which I am inspired to do more.
