Portee Community secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Congo Water in their Group H encounter in the 2026 1XBet ASSPA Inter-Community League on Sunday.
After a goalless first half, Portee broke the deadlock shortly after the restart when forward Abu Bakarr Koroma converted a well-delivered pass from Bobby Kamara.
Portee continued to apply pressure and added two more goals to complete a comfortable victory over Congo Water.
Congo Water defended deep during the opening half, frustrating Portee’s attempts to find a breakthrough. However, Portee returned from the interval with a more attacking approach and quickly found a way through the opposition’s defence.
The victory builds on Portee Community’s earlier 1-0 win over Yams Farm on July 26, while they had previously played out a goalless draw against Clinetonians on July 23.
Congo Water attempted to respond after conceding but struggled to break down Portee’s organised defence, which held firm for the remainder of the match.
The result gives Portee another valuable three points as they continue their Group H campaign, while Congo Water will look to bounce back in their next fixture.
